The Hammam Kit ($35)

The key to the self-led ritual is our Hammam Kit – a simple yet sensory set of tools and products to guide your experience.

Each contains a textured kessa glove and two empty vessels, housed within a reusable water-resistant bag, to be filled with products of your choice from our Scrub Station.

HOW TO SCRUB:
The Hammam Ritual

A self-led, sensory experience designed for deep cleansing and care.

The heat and humidity of the Hammam create the perfect conditions for masks and scrubs to do their work. With a curated selection of products, tools and simple guidance, this steamy ritual encourages a playful reset.

STEP ONE: Personalise

After purchasing your Hammam Kit, make your way to the Scrub Station to select two products to fill your vessels.

This is your chance to curate your ritual and select from a menu of cleansers, exfoliants and masks. Fill your Hammam Kit with two products of choice and head into the Bathhouse. You can begin the Hammam Ritual at any point during your visit – it’s a self-led experience where you move at your own pace.

STEP TWO: Cleanse

Start with your first product – we like to apply a cleanser first but it’s entirely up to you.

As you apply it, let the warmth of the Hammam soften your skin and allow the ingredients to sink in. After five slow minutes, rinse with cool water to reveal fresh, softened skin, ready for deeper exfoliation.

STEP THREE: Scrub

Time to exfoliate from head to toe.

After rinsing off your first product, slip on the textured kessa glove and begin to exfoliate using firm, back-and-forth strokes. Work your way down the body, adjusting pressure as required – gentle on sensitive skin, a little more firm where you need it. You may notice your skin shedding; it’s all part of the ritual. Rinse off with cool water and feel the renewal.s.

STEP FOUR: Steam

Now it’s time for the final layer.

We find mud treatments work beautifully here. Smooth it onto your skin, breathing in the scent and take in the texture. Rest for five minutes in the steam, allowing the product to work its quiet magic. Rinse with warm water, massaging gently as you go.

STEP FIVE: Wash down

Be a good Hammam citizen.

The Hammam is made for getting a little messy. Remember to only use your kit in this area – it’s the only space in the bathhouse designed for The Hammam Ritual. As you finish, take a moment to rinse down where you’ve been. It’s a small gesture of care for the space and for those who follow.

The Hammam

The Hammam, also known as a steam bath, is one of the dominant forms of communal bathing. Similar to a steam room, it’s a humid space, with the addition of showers and basins for keeping cool while soaking, and heated stone plinths for melting your worries away.

Sitting at a more comfortable 46°C temperature, The Hammam is perfect for relaxing and communing.

Access to our Hammam is included in general bathhouse entry and available for everyone to enjoy, but it also doubles as our dedicated space for practicing The Hammam Ritual.
